This is the bridge that crosses between the two buildings at Craig hospital in Denver where my brother Micah spent 3 months after a motorcycle accident left him paralyzed. Words cannot express the blessing this place was to our family!
I was able to get away for a night with my sisters and mom and had a wonderful birthday!
Grammies are the BEST!!
So are cousins!!
We love to go on Ranger rides as a family and check cows, ponds, crops and whatever else is around.
Natalie turned 2!
Rachel helped me make our first banana cream pie with meringue on top.
The girls watching Grandpa Boender combining beans.
BJ and I took a road trip to pick up this chisel and some other parts in Illinois. We had a really great time just being together after a busy fall! Thank you special friends for keeping 5 kids over night on very short notice! You have no idea how much of a blessing you are to us!!
The whole crew working on some tiling and dozing this fall.
Grand kids helping Grandma set up the nativity in the cabin. So thankful for Grandparents that are close to help us teach our kiddos about Jesus and also for the prayers they pray for them!!
BJ was in an accident and got anhydrous ammonia fertilizer in his eyes. I received the phone call at 3:00 am and this is how I found him in the ER. They put contacts in his eyes with a hose connected to them and flushed his eyes out with saline. He got 6 liters in each eye by the end of the day. Dad Boender wrote all about it and the miracles that took place in his blog here
http://stillwatersiowa.blogspot.com/2013/12/a-toothache.html We went back to the Dr. 2 weeks later
and they said that a miracle happened and BJ was completely healed. He still experiences blurriness sometimes but we are so extremely thankful that he is able to see! God is so very good!
Our newest nephew/cousin Jackson Boender was born to Kurt and Emily. This is a picture of Natalie admiring his picture. Jackson spent a while in the NICU because of low platelet counts, but once again God protected and healed him and he is back home.
Natalie's very first haircut.
Adalli's Christmas program! She sang and did the motions so well and was her excited little self as she announced to the whole church while jumping up and down that the next song was the baby Jesus song!
Gideon played his saxophone for the Christmas program at church.
My little brother at his first appearance since his accident. He did so well and made me cry as he performed. He has a great attitude and is a wonderful testimony to others around him.
Sledding, snowmen and being outside with all 5 kiddos is such a blessing too!
No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us! And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow- not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. Romans 8:37-38
